Life with a 350 ADV?

I miss my scooter so looking at one of these. I know there are many fans of this model here. Two questions.
1. Does anyone do their own maintenance on their 350 ADV scooter? How easy is it to do (for a not so mechanically minded individual)?
This is not a cost issue, more that I am trying to learn about ‘spannering’.
2. How serious are rust issues with all year round users?

I do my own servicing on my Forza, which is mechanically the same bike

It’s all pretty easy, the FD oil filler hole is a bit awkward as it’s small and just behind the shock absorber but with a syringe and a bit of tubing it’s OK
