Is there anything on the market that can be fitted to a 1200GSA to help lift it when you are on your own, or should you only ride with others or take up power lifting !!!

Top tip, don't try and do it on sloping ground that's muddy ;)

But if you do work out which way gravity / side stand etc will work in your favour :augie

lifing handle

wondertouratek do a lifting handle

It's relatively straight forward, and isn't difficult if you dropped the bike in gear. not sure how much harder it is though with luggage attached.

if the bike is in natural and falls on the left, cable tie or something the hand brake in.

whether the bike falls on the left or right, make sure the front end of the frint wheel is pointing in the air. grab the relevant handle near the ground, so you've got the best amount of leverage. bend knees, then straighten back, and walk towards the bike. job done. if the ground is good, it shouldn't be too difficult. you could always practice by lowering the bike on some grass/soft area, or put some padding down.

hope the above helps.

Just grab the fecker and shout "gerrupyacunt" through gritted teeth when lifting, you big girl.

That, plus the method linked to above works for me :thumb2

Seriously, the GSA doesn't go all the way down due to the size of the tank and is relatively easy to lift using the method shown. I've had to pick mine up once with luggage and once without, not really much difference.
