I have no association with this company other than I bought some of their light brackets and I am very happy with them.

I was filling some extra lights to my 2008 GS and because everything to do with BMW is ridiculously expensive so I was about to make my own brackets when I saw these. They are excellent, very good value for money and a breeze to fit.

£52?

Everyone's idea of value is different I suppose.

:thumb Got the same ones myself: they are excellent. I bought some LED spotlights from Fanum back in August to replace some crappy corroded ones held to the bike with crappy corroded brackets which came with the bike. I fitted the beautiful large new lights to the small crappy brackets and lived with it for a while but eventually had to buy the brackets which the LEDs deserved :-)

Bit fiddly to fit (although bear in mind I get nervous at anything over 2 spanners in the Haynes Manual) but rock solid, no vibration and simple to adjust. I had a good look around for alternatives but couldn't find anything comparable for that sort of price. Keep meaning to post some photos. The LEDs are splendid for the dark country road bit of my commute.

Mine cost £3.52 - but that was each (as opposed to a pair) from Homebase circa 2002.

Just been on Homebase and think I've found them
Nearly a fiver now!

Sorry - cant post pics unless I cough up £12 to subscribe - which would kinda negate the point of having £3.52 mounts :D

Well mail them to a mate?and let him or her? post them, that's assuming your mate? has coughed up the dosh:D

so how are the brackets? i cant seem to figure out where they attach. Do the lights attach on the horizontal or vertical plane? As in, are they attached as if on a shelf (like the migsel) or are they attached side on? reviews as I too want to get a bar soon. Only other place reasonable was rugged roads but it doesn't seem that they do a 1200 bar

? anyone? looking for a light bar for a 1200GS 2010. Migsel too expensive, seen these but any others out there? Not sure how these attach

I will try and get a couple of photos of mine soon. Very easy to fit, it takes just a few minutes. I have done about 4000 miles and nothing has come loose. You get two separate brackets that fix to the frame.

I don't have any mates who have coughed up the dosh. Interesting that.

However, youu could just have attended just about any meet 2001 - 2005 or know someone who did, then you would have seen them for yourself - or had a first hand description.

And if you only bought a GS after 2005 then you are a rich victim of fashion and you really wont be interested in my light mounts as they are definitely funtional and not fashionable.
