i know this might sound stupid but....my headlight bulb on my 1100gs has just blown I have the right replacement bulb but as I am fairly new to the GS I have not got round to getting a manual..so can anyone take me through the procedure to get to the old light bulb out and put the new one in..desperate as I have to do this tomorrow morning. Any sensible suggestions greatly appreciated.

thanks

Look at the headlamp, from the front of the bike.

There are three cross-head screws in the black surround.

One at the top in the middle.
Two at the bottom corners.

Undo them and remove the surrround.

Pull out the headlamp unit.

If you need the rest explaining, you`re not up to the job.

The next time you make jokes about blondes and light bulbs, I'm going to dig this thread up again!
I will! :D

But your not blonde...................

BTBR ;)

It's not the point; buy ''blondes'' you (many of you, often) mean ''girls'' and I'm not a man.

And I'm going to dig it up in solidarity with the blondes - no matter what sex they are!

It takes two men and a website to change a light bulb at a GS - we know that now! :D :D :D :D
