So now I have discovered how crap the 1200GS's lights really are. And that's after upgrading the bulbs!

Coming back from the MotoGP on Sunday night, I rode the A68 in much darkness. Fortunately following someone on a VFR for much of the time. But when I was out front or negotiating some fun bends etc., it was all a bit 'interesting'!

I've done a search on here and the main option seems the be the rather ugly sticky on lamps from the likes of Touratech.

Any other options worth considering?

Perhaps an eye test may be in order?
I don't have a problem with the lights, but would stress that getting them aimed correctly is a bit of a game.

Yeah, I'd agree with that.

Other than the 'flip' lever for heavy or normal loads how have you adjusted the beam?

Cheers

OK, I'll RTFM to see if that - wait for it - sheds any light.......!

Maybe I was spoilt before? I had a VFR with great night-into-day lights. Either way, the current set up is less than satisfactory for me. I suppose that I could have slowed down though. ;)

Oh aye......right! I've told you.....you've turned into a bloody hooligan since you got the GS.

I've got a pair of brand new huge Hella Luminators you could mount on crashbars. Let me see.....to you....
