I'm sure this has been done before but..
Piia or Hella fogs?

Can get PIIA 002x extreme white lights for $60 a pair or some Hella micro de's
for around $130 a pair. Both sets come with wiring looms. So :nenau

Just fitted some hellas. Might sound daft but one of the reasons I went for these was that I had originally bought the piaa's you mention but they looked daft on there own on the light bar where as these look ok and do a very good job as well.

evenflow - have a look at the Demon Tweeks website. They are doing some pretty good prices for Hella FF50 (spots) and Micro DE (fogs). Good delivery as well - ordered mine on Wednesday evening and Postman Pat was at the door with them on Friday.

Piaa's ...

... but get the 510's, not the weeny little ones

I have the Hella Micro-DE FOG and love them. They are true FOG lights in that their beam pattern is WIDE and FLAT. I think about 120 degrees wide and about 20 verticle. Really nice!!! I can run them all the time so cars see me and in foggy conditions, they really work.

I also have the Hella FF50 mounted for driving lights and love them.

I have PIAA 1100 on my LT along with HID. Works good to, but I like the above combo best of any I've tried.

While on this topic, can you drive with the Micro DE's on without blinding oncoming traffic or are they only meant for empty roads and of course fog?

I want to get a pair but its mainly so I can be seen by other road users.

I have them on all the time and other road users certainly see me as they now move over in standing traffic which is nice. Yet nobody has flashed me to suggest they are set too high.

On the way home there is usually less traffic, I do about 8 miles on unlit country roads and thats where they really make the difference in my opinion.
Well recommended.

Cheers.

Ive ordered a Hella Electron-Blue Projector Fog Lamp Kit and a PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow Lamp Kit as well as Migsel light bars.

Should illuminate the GS somewhat more!
