Anyone ever use it, is it worth the effort or should I stick to marker pen?

Lightscribe drives are cheap as chips, product looks great.

Lightscribe discs, arm and a leg and then some

IMHO stick to the trusty pen..

The Lightscribe drive I have is not colour (is there such a thing???); the disks are a bronze colour and the 'burning' makes a shaded image that may or may not be readable, depending on the complexity of the image.

I use one of these.

Print out a label on a standard inkjet and stick the label to the disc.
