oh yes

but it's quite good having a knee that tells you what the weather's like before you even get out of bed.

motion is lotion

Fell off a couple of bikes in the early days, most notably an RD125lc, what a weapon, skinned myself pretty badly on that bad boy and put a fair ould hole in my knee:eek:. I got stuck into the rugby and gave up biking for a for a long time in case i got hurt:blast, well 20 yrs playing Rugby, has left me with an infinite knowledge of my anatomy:augie, Broken shoulder, discolated fingers, elbow surgery, Knee surgery, broken nose x3 which i had to get put back into position, the sensation of blood running down ur throat is the most outstanding memory from that episode. Also had a fractured sinus cavity and you know the saying " i have a pain in my face" well i know where that comes from. The sub zero temperatures drive the sinus crazy:tearsNow suffering with the back and neck and this weather only compounds the aches and pains but **** i had some great craic while playing the best game in the world.
Seven seas joint suplements are the rugby players drug. Great stuff,i highly recommend them, that and a bit of swimming and cycling and some days you'd feel fantastic:D Do i qualify to ride a goldwing yet?

You look to have a nice imprint among all that purple .

Perfect replication of the Tarmac I believe

There is a funny tale about it!

The Bike stopped in about 15 to 20 feet on the soft grass verge I continued to roll about 40 feet I got up heard bike still running

I was as Dizzy as Feck and about to Boke but I could only think about turning off the bike So I staggered and swerved like a really pished person back to the bike Fell on the ground beside it turned of the ignition and passed out

I don;t know how long after but I came round with a young lady doctor taking my pulse and calling an ambulance!

I ended up riding th ebike back to mine (about half a mile) very gingerly cos it was me mates and he had a broken arm and couldn't ride it

My Ex took me to hospital Boy was that Tramadol good stuff when they eventually let me have some LOL :aidan :aidan :aidan

Jay,

Cyclimorph would be my painkiller of choice:aidan
The hospital staff ended up telling me I wasn't actually in pain - just heavily addicted:augie
If I had been in BUPA at the time they would have probably gave me an extra month of injections before weaning me off...........

In my 5 months in the hospital someone had brought me in a joke book and from time to time I would read out a few to people who had visited me. Everyone cracked up in fits of laughter.
About 8 months or so after I left hospital I happened upon the joke book and read through it.........it was corny + unfunny:o.
I almost had a panic attack thinking of all those people having to fake laughter as they felt sorry for me being paralysed from the chest down and off my face on Opioids:tears
