Bugger! I sometimes think I'm the only one on this forum who has a good relationship with a decent dealer - and now they're going to close!
Seems that Lind management (who are a large car dealership) aren't willing to invest the money in the motorcyle side of the dealership that BMW want, so they'll close with effect from 1st November. The 2 technichians, Spencer & Kevin, are going to set up their own servicing business, but will be unable to do warranty work. When they decide on when & where they're going to set up, I'll post the details. No other dealer is, at present, taking up the opportunity in Norwich. Anyone in Norfolk who needs his BMW serviced by an approved dealer will have to go to Peterborough (Balderstone's).
Bugger
ps I get the feeling they may have quite a good 'closing down sale' on bits & pieces (don't know about bikes) - I'll post details when I hear.....
