Has anyone managed to link front and back brakes on a 1200gs,to work from just the front brake lever damaged right knee means hard work to get to the back brake pedal, but do not want to go down the servo route,( bad memories of my previous 1150)

I can't remember one case of dodgy servos on a 1200 ever being reported.......discounting the few that have had problems because of the ABS wire being incorrectly routed.

I think you're more likely to create new problems by trying to link them in another way- and certainly more than you'd have by just going with the flow and getting standard linked brakes.

The front/rear brakes ARE linked when using the front brake lever. They're not linked when using the footbrake. You also have a servo as standard!
Does this solve your knee problem? (It's the cheapest option !!!)

don't really use the pedal on my 1200 at all. as poster above says, they are linked already when using the handlebar lever.

BTW servos discontinued 07>
