Little plastic part on the handguard - what is it called??

Hi guys,

I am trying to get the reference part or the name of the plastic support of the handguards, as I have broken mine and is holding now with a zip tie. I just can´t manage to find it anywhere....!! Anyone knows?

I was told by BMW that this part wasn't available separately from the handguard, I was also told that the handguards on my 06 gsa are discontinued, I was told I could buy the later guards instead at a cost of nearly 200 quid,
I was lucky as someone on here sold me a secondhand piece, ridiculous really as it appears to be a piece that is designed to break to save the handguard.

This doesn't look good for me then... eBay it is, as soon as I get the name of the part!!!

Bracket, £6-90, new handguards, £200...........Hmmmmm, does make you wonder doesn’t it! ;) :D
 
Good shout, one of mine has gone but the glue has held it for perhaps three years so far, just make sure you get the right one as they are 'handed'

BTW they have the later guards at 117
