Little spring clips that hold the H1 lamps into the 1150 headlights

Ok. I put them somewhere safe. Now I can't find them.

And Vines tell me that these little clips are NOT available as separate parts.

BMW don't see fit to use clips that can't be detached from the light unit, so loss must surely be an issue.

Does anyone know where I can get a couple?

My tame repair monkey managed a very passable bodge using some welding rod to keep me going.

Actually, as I think about it my youngest was in the garage as I put them down carefully. He might remember where I put them - or have moved them himself.

But I still want two spares in case this happens again.

Check the website of the manufacturers of the lamp units maybe??

PS the clips are on the shelf behind that coffee mug.....underneath the rag you used to wipe the lenses clean when you started the job

Find a car breakers tha you can walk around and see if you can aquire some. I would have thought fog lights are the best candidate.
