silly question

Are the Battery terminals on the wrong way,?? Ive seen it done,or maybe one or more of your loom conections have been rewired or connected wrongly??,and Ive also seen shorted bulbs and batteries that can give the same problems?. Have you done something to the bike rescently???. Let us know.

Re: the silly question.

I did wire a GPS, and heated jacket, directly to the live side of the battery & earthed them to the frame.
This was done before a trip to Spain.
The bike started cutting out on my return trip.
This cutting out, was a symptom that I had last year & was sorted by the dealer, without them knowing what they had done to fix it. They have told me that the live frame is nothing to do with my wiring.
As I said above, when they find the problem, I will post the result.
