Ride on my own last Sunday. A group ride went out at 9.30 from Caerphilly way that's 9.30 am. Bit bloody early if you ask me, anyway did a similar route same destination. Wow the ride from Llandovery to Llyn Brianne was amazing, then up the Devils Staircase to the views of the reservoir. Will be doing that again, no traffic either.

A lovely part of the UK which I've ridden many times. The Plough in Llandeilo is a great hotel to stay in. Has the 20mph limit made any difference to the riding enjoyment?

No, it might add an extra 5 mins to a ride like the one I posted on here yesterday. In places like Aberaeron and Aberystwyth it makes no difference due to traffic. It's just larger villages on main roads like Bow Street where it is a slight annoyance. Most of the roads I was on yesterday were 60mph NSL, but traffic lowered my average speed on main roads, not the limits.
