Llangollen green lane day.

Hi Folks.
Would anybody like to join me on a mid-week trail ride from Llangollen heading south on towards Lake Vyrnwy? Machinery may vary as I will be astride a DRZ400. Fuel can be obtained at Fron near Llangollen, then Llansilin 30 miles into the ride.
We can pub-lunch or packed lunch. We will probably leave LLangollen at 0930hrs to return at approx 1630hrs. The pace will be brisk but no stunt riders please as I like to run a covert operation in these parts, it keeps plod on the 'A' roads, chasing the RRR riders.
If you're interested, let me know and I will plan this ride further regarding the date and numbers.
We will use OS maps 125 and 126. Some routes may be over grown due to the weather recently....That's Wales for you, Boyos!

I'll come if i can fit my 450exc into the back of my 306pug....i'll strip the front end if it means i can put me foot down a bit!!

I'm off out in a while to do the peak district in the dark!!

Can you post the date please(any day is ok providing i aint got an off roading jaunt arranged).I've rode these parts before and have parts of the OS maps marked which i will let you take any routes off if you haven't already got them.

Ok, it's looking like the 5th of July, that's a Wednesday. Gives me enough time to get the DRZ fixed up after the IOM ride.
Hopefully it will be drier then than of late, not that that will make any difference on some of the UCRs we might ride!
Am I able to send a PM to all candidates? That way I'll get a true idea of numbers and get a map reference number of the rv.

5th July, Llangollen Green Lane ride-out.

OK, my DRZ400 has gone through the test today.
So for my next day on it I intend to take a run out from Llangollen on July 5th, departing 0930 and should be returning to Llan about 1630.
From Llangollen heading South towards Llanfyllin and back.
As I mentioned originally some of the routes will be heavily overgrown as not many people are using these trails.....
Those still interested please drop me a pm and I'll get an idea of numbers, ideally six bikes.

do you have memory map ? like to exchange routes you know around that area.

Llangollen Trail Ride. Wednesday July 5th.

Hi Folks, the Trail Ride next Wednesday that I'm running is definately on.
I have sent a PM to people who enquired earlier.
Ideally a group of six machines is best so there are still a few places available.
The ride will leave Llangollen area at 0930 heading South, hopefully reaching Dyfnant Forest and then looping back up North.
A packed lunch will be required and petrol will be obtainable at Llansilin (where I can show you a proper GS!!!)
It wold be nice to see a good cross section of machinery and I can tailor the ride if some big hardware turns up, so don't be shy, I promise to look after you!
Please give me a reply to this post and a PM. I will send you the rendez-vous map reference which is near the A483/A5 to the East of Llangolen.
