Loading Mapsource Without Unit Code ??

A Mate has leant me the disc that came with his BMW SatNav (similar to the Zumo 660)

The disc comes with the maps and Mapsource, I only need Mapsource, as my Nuvi 765T has full up to date Europe mapping already on it.

When I load the disc on my PC it asks me to connect my unit and asks for the unit code.

Is it possible to get just the Mapsource on my PC without enetering the unit code ??

I’m just a little worried that if I connect my unit and enter a wrong code it will wipe or lock my unit ??

Get a copy of world map and install that, it will give you mapsource with no codes needed.
