Locating the Touratech Mount

Hi,

Getting a new 1200GSA. I have a Quest 1 with Touratech mount fitted with the car cable to get the audio (transferring from my Triumph Tiger 955i).

Will the Touratech mount fit on the cross bar that supports the screen?

I suspect it may be to close and the Quest antenna will foul the screen, but I am sure you guys will know.

I have a Touratech crossbar from my tiger onto which the Quest was mounted. I think this may fit the GSA. I will try this, but how do you guys fit yours?

Touratech cradles ( or mounts as you call it) usually has two clamps on the underside, these to attach onto a tubular rail (say 1/2") as in crossbar of 1150GSA.

The 12GS/GSA has, for description, an oval shape so you may need to remove clips from the TT cradle, keep bolts/nuts/washers and fit the small arm u-bolt, RAM-B-149ZA where the 1" u-bolt and shim (sits inside u-bolt) goes around the oval rail and the arm should come almost inline with clock. The diamond in the mount kit attaches onto two centreline hole on the TT cradle and you have the fixings from their cradle.
