Locations of good tyre suppliers/fitters

Please can I ask if anyone knows of any good and recommended tyre suppliers and fitters which are located in and around Essex. I’m not stuck on my choice of tyre, but it seems difficult to know who will be the best place to supply and fit them - taking care of rims and proper balancing etc.

I have found Protyre to be pretty good in all locations I have used them. Check here https://www.protyre.co.uk/local-garages - not all branches do bike tyres. The ones in Enfield and Great Dunmow do.

I've used the Enfield Protyre many times before. The guy that does the bike fitting is a good-un.

Unlike others, he doesn't do the minimum to fit and balance the tyre - he's the only tyre fitter I've tipped.

Has a rather nice SP1.

Protyre Enfield car bays are poor in my opinion.

Try your BMW dealer.

I have taken 2 loose wheels and supplied my own tyres which were fitted and balanced at a cost of £32 in total. Key is give them a week to do it so they can fit them in a quiet period.

I also had a Scorpion trail 2 rear fitted for and balanced for £155 on a loose wheel.
