Lock wafers

Good news guys, i did the tumblers tonight and i dont need any. I just swapped three in each barrel and hey presto ! sorted with all six tumblers in place.

Hi. My first post having just picked up an LC model and won a pair of varios on Fleabay. Does anyone have a couple of number 1 tumblers they could spare/swap for my two spare number 3s? I've left them out for now, so not a problem,, but I'd like to have them all in.
By the way, I left the springs in, is that OK. I don't really want to strip them out again until I can get the tumblers, but will if they are likely to get lost in there. I had enough trouble when I lost one on the carpet!

Hi. The dealers will have an abundance of tumblers as when locks come uncoded there are spare tumblers to make up virtually any key..
So, ask nicely if they can spare a few..

All you really need are two to three matches. I have yet to come across a key that you couldn't get that many to work by rearranging. Just leave the others empty.

Just make sure you leave the last one empty or you won't be able to get the lock tumbler back out!
