Here is a tip for those using the non-lockable TT mount for the 2610.

There is a hole which you can insert a mini padlock this stops the hinge mechinisium from working and I think works better than the TT locking mount.

Remember you saw it here first

Enlighten me, what's that velcro for on the top of the mount? :nenau

I used the Velcro to mount an MP3 player, BUT it stopped the GPS picking up satellites. Keep any electrical gizmos away from the GPS as they interfere with GPS reception.

Nice one Activmoto, top tip. :thumb

I've got the TT mount for the Quest, and I've always regretted not spending the extra and getting the locking one. One of these days I'm going to forget to take the GPS off the bike when I fill up, and it only takes a second for some toerag to nick it.

I'm off to the garage to drill some holes. Now the big question is, do I get the TT tiny padlock or go for the Wunderlich one? :D
