I have bought the Zega Pro 2 kit for my LC (or WC as people are fond of saying here) and I bought a four lock set for the pannier lids, but I don't see what I should use to lock the lever that hold the panniers onto the rack. Is it some other kind of lock? Or the same kind as the lids? It seems quite tight to go and tighten the bolt holding the lock underneath.

Anybody has a clue? We're talking the Zega Pro 2, here.

Thank you.

Yessss! That's what I'm talking about! Thanks a lot. :bounce1

In the meantime, tie-wraps, and looking at some way to secure the panniers with padlocks or something.

Pro2

Lock the lids, pannier is then effectively locked to the bike.

Not with Zegapro2 they aren't. They have a lock at each end of the lid and a lock on the outside mechanism attaching to the bike, i.e. 3 locks per pannier and you don't need to open the pannier to take it off the bike. I have them on my bike, also have a built in carry handle on the lid.:thumb

That's interesting I thought mine were Zega pro2.

They obviously aren't.

Wish I'd got mine in Black

You probably have zegapro, only difference is the method of attachment and the in built carry handle and the attachment for fuel can etc all ready for plug and play. pannier frames exact the same, they only became available in Germany in June and just about coming on the market in the uk now. I like the black too:D

they look cool in the anodised black ,What sizes are they ? and can you get a helmet in the side case?

I am lucky I got a set of 31/38 L. from the Canadian distributor, who ony had two available a few weeks ago. I wanted bare aluminium finish and they had it.

The inside of the Zega Pro 2 has no protuberance like the previous attachment system has.

You can't get a helmet in the 38 L. pannier, but you probably can in the 45 L.

I have a 38l and 45l size, have not tried putting a helmet in, but am certain it would go in the 45l:thumb

I have received the locks for the attachment levers. Be advised that installing them can be a bit tricky and frustrating. Being two will help, if only to hold the lever open against the spring. I was alone and I admit to having sworn a couple of times.

I take it you've got the TT frames for your Zega Pro 2 cases... has anyone tried these on the Metal Mule balanced frames with their Scorpion exhaust?
