Logging in from two places?

For a good number of months I have had the good fortune to have access to the Forum from home and work using my monicker (and associated password) of Invicta Moto.

Recently, despair, work PC was tidied by my fellow ICT types and now I am unable to use my sign-on and password, it works at home but not here at my work place. Whilst those of you in management may see this as a bonus it is frankly peeing me offski!

Hence my newly created nom-de-plume as Inspectre Sherringford Hovis.....

Any advice? I have cleared cookies from the PC and the attendant crumbs from the keyboard with no success.... I feel I am suffering a split personality.. Invicta Moto at home and now Sherringford here.... Agghhhhhh!

What happens when you 'can't log in at work'??

Do you get an invalid password/username message or does something else happen?

I regularly log in from different PCs and haven't had a problem........

Could it be that the "thought police" at work have disabled cookies?

Wouldn't have thought so Iain......you can still of in with cookies disabled.....it just means you have to type in your username and PW every time.

(PS I bet Mr Invicta Hovis has his caps lock key on and his normal login isn't in caps but don't tell him yet or he won't feel enough of a plonker when we finally tell him )

Not a cookie problem as I can get in as this new sign-on rather than the old Invicta Moto one....

And yes, it does say the password is not right. I requested a new one to be sent to me at home last night and it gave me a long number. I logged in as IM at home and used the new password, then changed it to something sensible.

And I divvent have cap slock on! cheeky monkey!


Should I tempt fate and try this id at home and consign IM to history....?

Cracked it.. pure fluke, have the same password for both to make it east for my dimbo brain, but I can now logon as SH from home... let's see tomorrow if I can logon as IM and SH from work....

Confused.... wait until the next episode of SOAP....
