As we are all arriving at the show at various times, I suggest we all meet up at the main exit to the show (not the main exit to the Excel centre) when the show closes. We can then have a pint or three in a bar and then wander along to the Tai Pan.

Top time and thanks very much for arranging the day! I even managed to escape without spending much at the show which is a first.

wish I'd joined you. Inside the hall, sausage in bun - £5.50 .... probably horse/pig combo (who knows). Being a Yorkshireman, I baulked at the outrage. Could have knawed my own arm off after 3 hours of tootling around the show. Still, £5.50 saved for my bfh.

Spent all my sweet money at the show but fortunately had enough left for the Tai Pan. Great food, great evening fellas, thanks. :beerjug:

Actually if you do go along, take sarnies.

I got to the front of the hotdog queue, to find it was 6" of unwound Cumberland on the nastiest piece of greasy tinfoil with that congealed mouldy fat holding it down. Under a heat lamp. Just the thing for shitting your pants on the way home.

Excel really is a pisstake, apart from the nice pub by the dlr.
