I will be on the ferry in October. I know some time away. Looking to stop half way for the night from London. Any suggestions for accommodation/safe parking?
Thanks in advance.

It's an afternoon departure, 15.45 or 16.45, so I would just ride it on the day rather than stopover. Distance is around 240 miles, so say 5 hours with a comfort stop/refuel.

You'll have plenty of time to relax on the crossing, if it stays calm in the Bay.

Evening,
Regularly do this run both ways by car and bike and allow 4 - 4.5 hrs for the journey to the west side of London including a half hour comfort break around the Yeovil area,

Easy doable in a day I do 377miles in one hit

It’s short day ride. We used to do Yorkshire to Troyes in a day. This was using the tunnel so around 550 miles.
I use the Hull-Rotterdam ferry now as I no longer like the ride to the tunnel. More precisely I hate the ride back from the tunnel when coming home.
