I’ve just helped my pal fit a set of these on his 1250 GSA, including the MotoCAN thing.
Easy to fit once you’ve removed the panels.
He has also fitted and coded via the motocan some lights behind the tank badges.
I have to say, the light kit appears well made and all items fit perfectly.
Even the wiring plugs.
I then ‘coded’ everything via the laptop using the eazycan app thing. It takes a while to programme everything in but the results are good .
The eazycan is a game changer for fitting accessories, very impressive.
It’s maybe a bit gimmicky but there’s no way anyone could say they didn’t see the lights.
Then he told me the cost.… that’s a different story

Yeah, i thought it was a lot but apparently Denalis are even more money.
They do seem a good system though.
Well thought out and made.

Been out tonight with Tom to check out the new lights. WOW, incredible, I’ve adjusted the aim down a bit .
I went down a straight road and it went into ‘beast’ mode. Plenty of light hundreds of metres away.
I then adjusted the normal BMW auxiliary lights down. There’s continual light from 5 metres ahead right out to about 500 or 600 metres.
Absolutely bonkers price, but very good.

IIRC they're on par with the D7 in terms of size & light output. However, The LR lights are in their own category vs most aftermarket lights as they're 'E' marked - which is important in some countries across Europe when it comes to adding after market accessories.

Yep, great price compared to others. Can't wait to get mine.

Yes there a similar size and output to the Denali’s. They could be used as aircraft search lights 😀
For me, I’d like a smaller light. I’ll never need that much light output.

I run the Denali S4 for that reason. A smaller light, with a good output - but no need to light up the whole landscape as i rarely ride at night.

I don’t like the fact you have to set the fuse at 15 amps either. I don’t know what the alternator puts out, but what with the normal aux lights, heated seats and grips etc it must be working near flat out.

I guess that is for when they are on full everything mode for that option. I wonder what happens if you lower the e-fuse rating if it'll block the extra draw only, or shut down the entire power feed to the line.

The Soundbomb has a draw of 20A........although that's only being used for short bursts at a time.

It shuts down the power and the EzeCan/MotoCan shows a small red light until it is switched off, and then back on. The fuse has to be set at the correct level.. 15A, if I remember correctly.

Do you have to purchase the MoroCan or can I run them off a Hex EzCan that's already installed?

You can run them from a hex ez can, provided it can run the latest software, do an update, and see if it has the white data bus tab in the menu, if yes , good to go, if no, you may need to upgrade the software or procure a new unit, hex website explains all
