Well the plan was to fit these today, but as usual, the weather and Mrs Santa scuppered that lol

So i thought you could see what the bad boys are like close up so to speak

And last but not least, the fixing kit / cables

The units feel well made, and have a fair bit of weight,

The brackets look quite substantial, and have lots of packing strips to accommodate different bar diameters

Now to find some bloody good weather to fit & try them

I’ve been looking at these for my GS 1300, what bike do you have and did you buy the bundle or just the lights?
I’ve been close to ordering the bundle for mine but keep on trembling over the pay now button and taking the hit for £5 short of £900😬

I've a 1200gs,

I already have a hexezcan installed, so for me it was the just the lights option

I got them on black Friday as they offered them at the initial preorder price £580 i think

They didn't arrive until early Jan though

Good move the Black Friday deal, 20% off I believe. I should have committed then.
I will need the full pack, so will have to man up and make sure the wife is kept in the dark ( pun intended )
I’m going to ABR this year and wondered if there would be any discounts available at the festival but as I’ve never attended before that might be wishful thinking 😂

Ask yourself what you need/want them for & see what else is on the market that does the same or similar.

@Santa-2512
What laptop are you using ?
When we did my pals bike, the app didn’t like Macs, so I used @ windows machine. It was fine then.

Hatcho fitted them a few weeks ago. I gotta say seriously excellent lights well worth the money

Not sure there is anything else out there that compares in price, quality and technology.

Denali D7 is the closest rival.

Plenty of comparison videos out there on the 2 side by side at night to show the spread & reach of beam.

Saw those. That's why I went for the Lone Riders.

May I ask a silly question ?
Why do people fit such spotlights ? Do you ride a lot at night on unlit roads ?
To be honest i don’t ride a lot in the dark but up here in Scotland were I ride there is a lot of unlit roads and I’ve been caught out a few times last year, especially with the GS1300 as I think the headlight is definitely worse than my previous 1250.
I’m mid 60’s now and I definitely can’t see in the dark as well as i used to, so I’m going to get some aftermarket lights, just need to weigh up the choices and costs.

Makes sense

When I used my bike on 2:10 the extra riding lights made the journey home across the wilds of Lancashire much more confidence inspiring. On well lit roads there is no issue but across the moors above Rochdale Less Wassels spots and Hid headlamp played a flanker.

I went hook, line and sinker and purchased the full package. Not the cheapest option by far, but I'm very happy with the result. Took advantage of the Black Friday deal to save a few bob. Do I need them? Probably not. Do I want them? 100%. For me, part of the enjoyment of biking is making my bike my own by adding bits and pieces. Farkling defined. 😎😊

Next accessory that you need to match that blacked out 1250 that you're putting together....

Is a lovely all black G-Shock that might be for sale in the next week or two
