Long shot - anyone got the TT rack for the 1200ADV panniers?

As the title says - anyone got the 1150 GS Touratech rack for the 1200ADV panniers? I know it's a long one as I've not really seen it mentioned.

Basically I want to know what the distance is between the frame and the exhaust and would I get one of the TT mounting pucks in there? It only looks like a couple of cm's from the photo.

I just got an email back from Touratech saying that the tubes are 18mm so in my head the 18mm mounting kit should fit.

I lied an told them that my set of 1200ADV panniers were broken and could I use the mounting kit to fix them. They said "no". I'm not sure whether they mean the mounting kit itself in not compatible with the rack or the mounting kit is not compatible with the 1200ADV boxes.

Basically I'm looking at whether a custom made pannier can be made to fit this touratech rack using the touratech mounting kit.
