Strange question but I'm looking for somewhere safe and secure to leave my GS1150 for possibly a couple of years while I go overseas again (long story so just don't ask!). Its now on 100,000 and its not the time of year to be selling, not that I'd get much for it with that mileage. Also, I have just finished a long trip and don't really want to sell it anyway.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I can store it? I live in Edinburgh but don't have a garage, only street parking.

Cheers

Motarrad in Dalkeith can store bikes short term...obviously not the game you're in......longer term rentals is courtesy of a friend or rent/buy a garage - agree yellow pages or estate agent

Did you sort out your bike storage Mike.

If you are still looking I could keep it in my warehouse for you. It's in Paisley so a train ride home unfortunately or maybe a pillion trip.

We would put it on a pallet and lift it onto the office roof so it would be well out of the way and the place is locked, alarmed as well as audio monitored at night.

And by the end of the two years, it will have acquired the rather nice aroma of the 'Water of Life' completely free of charge and in keeping with vintage mileage of the Bike.....:thumb

No chance, dry goods warehouse! That aroma is too good to be free!
