Long term Bike storage

Does anyone know of,or has anyone used long term motorcycle storage within a reasonable distance of the Fleet/Aldershot area?

Looks like i will be working in Kuwait for a year or more soon,so im looking at putting my Gs to sleep..somewhere warm and secure,im already in the process of selling my Kawasaki Versys.

I have asked about storing a bike with those container firms,where you hire out a room or container and put what you want inside....the cheapest i have found was at £100 a month,plus insurance extra.Is this good or bad?

Because,if its that much as standard ,it looks like i will have to sell my beloved old bike,rather than rack up a possibly huge storage bill.

From £6 to £12 a week seems to be the norm, depending on air tents/trickle charge/engine starts etc. Some will even get it MOTd so you can ride it when you get home
