...I hate to have this draggin' on and coming over like a drama queen but in view of some of the recent posts, can I make this clear: I'm no longer a Moderator (despite my Avatar title).

I was sacked but subsequently cleared the air with Paul who was man enough to apologise to me and even post publicly that he'd perhaps overreacted. However, I can't see how I can possibly carry on being a Moderator.

My problem is that a fellow Mod has knifed me in the back (presumably for no better reason than to engratiate himself) and until such times as that person is man enough to put his hands up and admit his crass stupidy and sleekitness, then I won't share the same room as him. Of course, there could be an innocent reason for him carrying tales but until I hear his explanation, we'll never know.

Petty? Possibly but I'd never hold me head up again if I just ignored this.

The rest of the Mods must be worried now about anything they might have said to that person...

I hope this is an end to this confusion.

I have said this privately Ronnie and I say it publicly. The Scottish section would be impoverished by your absence.

You have given more to this section than anyone else ... ever.

I dont know who stabbed you but it was and is to the detriment of UKGSer.

The Scottish Section would be a worse place without Ronno, however he's not going anywhere, he's just standing down as Moderator. Those of us close to him have all tried to get him to continue being a Mod but he's made up his mind and we should respect his decision. He's still going to be a "larger than life" presence on the board and will be posting shite and suggesting runs as normal I'm sure.

We now have 3 seperate threads about "Ronnogate" and it's in danger of growing into a big black hole that will overshadow the SS for the future. How about closing the threads at midnight tonight and getting back to normal tomorrow.
