Your advice is sought in how to look after a set of TKC's removed to be returned to the bike in around 8 months time. Whats the best way of storing them?

Store tyres in an area that is ventilated, dry and warm, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Store tyres away from any chemicals, solvents or hydrocarbons, which can alter the composition of the rubber.

Store tyres away from sharp objects that could cut or puncture the rubber (metal, wood, glass etc.)

Do not store tyres in stacks for long periods unless the tyres are mounted and inflated.

Do not stack heavy objects on the tyres.

Do not store tyres near any flame or ignition source, or any device capable of producing sparks or an electrical discharge (i.e. battery chargers).

Mine have been lying out in the garden for the last 2 months:blast :D

i've seen some folk hang them off the side of their boat. water stops them drying out :thumb

Under the bed.

I tried that for a while and then I noticed the smell of rubber. After that I had to put them in the attic (probably not a good place in the summer though)
