Looking for a dirt bike, any ideas

The last dirt bike I had was an 84 Honda XR350R 4 stroke. Great bike. I had it for a year and some-one stole it.

Anyways I would like to get a dirt bike, but I have lost touch with what is out there. From what I see, most bikes are now 4 stroke and water cooled.

I have been looking at the Honda CRF250X. Would it have the same power as my old 350R had? (The CRF450X looks nice too.)

I also want a bike that my kids can ride. They are 17, 19 and 21. Any input would be helpful.
