looking for a Hein Gericke shop that will ship to Aus for a reasonable price ?

Why don't you ask one of your buddies on here to do it for you? I brought back from the US a few years ago a AeroStich on here, I am not coming to Oz just yet, but I am sure one of the "parish" would be happy to take delivery of a mail order item or just go to the shop and buy for you and ship it to Oz as a birthday gift etc. (not sure if customs are hot on that or not)

I would be happy to do it for you, but my nearest shop is a long ride!

I'd try to get a shop to send it.... they can discount the VAT (17.5%) so that would pay for the postage and maybe even the duty in Aussie if you get pinged.
If it's HG branded goods they should have no problem sending it overseas. Have a look at their online shop and see if it will let you address the package to Aussie
Get skype going and give a store a call - cost 20 cents.

What is it your looking at? If you have any trouble calling the shops let me know and I'll ride over to the local one and see what they'll do

I can get HG stuff mailed to me VAT-free and I visit Sydney most months.

But I prob won't be back until Sept/Oct.

I have bought things from Hein Gericke in Germany and they have shipped to the UK without question, and at a very reasonable cost.

Note that prices in Germany are generally lower than the UK !

I beg to differ,sorry.

I checked prices in Germany last summer and they were higher than UK-and that was at 1.3 € to £.

At least they were on jackets such as Master V and Tuareg.

Now it's 1.2 ish the diff is even more

... I bought a Tuareg suit from Germany for less than the price of the Jacket on it's own in the UK. I guess you have to check the price of each item carefully and look for special offers !

Weird.I specifically checked the price of the Master V jacket in the HG Trier store and then bought it the following week in UK as it was cheaper,even with VAT on it.

I may be able to help. The company I work for regularly ship overseas ( to Africa) so we are used to claiming the VAT back when we export goods. I can ask if we can put it throught the books.

Then I can just get it couriered to you.
