Looking for a late KTM 990 Adventure in Ireland

As per the title, I'm in the market for a late KTM 990 Adventure in good condition etc. Willing to go north of the border but, subject to year of registration in NI and all that brexit stuff. Please PM me if you are thinking of selling yours. Cheers

Er ........... why? Plenty of nice F800GSs around, or whatever.

I've owned a couple of 990 advs when they were current & don't look back particularly fondly.

They were service hungry, the lights were crap & KTM always managed to wreck residuals with late season discounting.

Thanks for the info on your own experiences. I'm sure the F800GS is a great bike among many other great bikes including the Africa Twin. Just fancy a 990, cheers

Because he is looking for a late model of the most desirable off-road/touring/road/gravel/adventure bike that has been made in the last 25 years. One that is not over engineered or full of electronic gimmicks and one that can be fixed on the side of the road rather than requiring a membership of ADAC/RAC/AA.

Lovely bike, I'm not jealous at all I may look at Germany in 2023 if i don't get one here before then? Just got to get my head around the German export process and the willingness of a German dealer to help?

Did you see the one in a dealer in Dublin? A 13 reg ,but on closer inspection a 2011 model. How does it happen that a 2011 model is not registered until 2013? A swimmer as well, although not a deal breaker

I've ridden one - a hundred times more character than the F800.

Good luck finding one, the blue/orange scheme would be my nirvana.

Don’t forget we were deep n recession so chances are it sat in M50 showroom for year or two before sold and reg on year it sold

Makes sense, although is an import so maybe same story abroad. Don't think it came out of the UK? Anyway good luck with your search.

Saw that one , the Baja colours. I didn't have the cash for it when it came up. Disappeared pretty quickly too.

Took a few weeks to sell and had good bit mileage. However had lot paperwork for service history which is what you need with a ktm

is that one in mega bikes not sold? saw it was removed off their site last week i think

ya i was thinking that too he raised the price. think was 6950 previously

i know there was 2 black 990's up one was slightly cheaper with more extras
