Looking for a mono front brake disc

Not sure if this is allowed, please correct me if not, but im after a front brake disc from a mono. Have made a thread in 'wanted' section but as its only really applicable to airheads it may get better response here.

A mono what? G/S, GS, RT? I believe there are differences in the dish or "bell" if fitted (I cant currently see the showthread as to skint to subscribe so apologies if mentioned there)

Its a mono '86 R80RT - like this:

Looks the same as the ones off later K bikes with the elongated holes, but the offset isnt right. I bought one off another inmate but turns out it was off a K and didnt fit. It's still sat in the garage awaiting a new home.

James sherlock have new aftermarket options, grimeca or hekkane for £96/£99 which is about the cheapest option. However, I would need a pair to avoid looking like a pillock, so were up at £200 again.

The one i have that isnt warped is fine, plenty meat left on it. Looking for a second hand one, they will look matched enough and hopefully save few quid. JS do second hand ones but hes none in just now, and hasnt had since i first checked before winter. Motorworks have second hand ones for £95, but at that price id rather bite the bullet and buy new from JS.

My own stupid fault. I would say that ive learned my lesson and will never drive off again with a disc lock still in place, but thats just tempting fate

As a redneck fix you could, of course, run it as a single disc setup - I think thats how quite a few were supplied new back in the day.......

cheers, but thats a bit too redneck even for me, given the somewhat average stopping ability even with both discs
