Hi folks the annual pilgrimage to Scotland has been planned and having given up on trip advisor for advice I though I'd ask the masses of the GS site for recommendations. All there stops have accommodation booked but nowhere to eat just yet. Lock Inn in Fort Augustus alway seems to be good, just not sure about the other two stops. And yes we eat anything!!! Thanks for your help:beerjug:

Tobermory has to be the chippy van on the harbour.....first class!

Most of the pubs along the front are ok. Mishnish is good, or the Tobermory Hotel is very good. There's also the big hotel at the top of the hill, can't remember the name - nice place, cracking view, average food.

We went to Tarbert last year. Nice little town but don’t think we saw anywhere to eat out. Loch Fyne and it’s eateries aren’t far away though. Mull of Kintyre is pretty, dog walk on Westport beach in the sun was very memorable.

Sister in Law has family in Tarbert. To quote her:
"Cafe Cadora is good, Starfish also v good last time I was there, although more of an "we're going out for dinner" vibe. Anchorage has become a favourite for Mum & Dad of late."
Carolyn who originally set up Starfish in Tarbert and Cafe Fish in Tobermory has now set up an eatery at the West Loch Shores, so that will be good. The Gather on the way out of the village towards Campbelltown also look to do good daytime food.

Sounds like you've got a couple of options there
