looking for r80 downpipes

posted a want ad in the correct section of the forum looking for some useable r80 exhaust headers, but since its airhead specific it may find more suitable eyes in here. If this isnt the 'done' thing or puts any noses out of joint, I will delete this thread.

hi Dana - the frame is still hanging from the rafters in my attic. I have been spending too much time riding the bike and taking care of other mechanical issues! when I have some more free time to devote I think i will look out for another engine and build a second bike, as I now have a fair few bits sitting in the garage (tank, wheels, exhausts, seats etc) that are 'surplus' to my working bike.

How are things working out for you back in Canada? Hope the move and settle went well.

Haha... I told you that would happen... once you get a frame and a few other bits the wallet starts to creak open and before you know it you'll have another bike.

Canada has been good so far but my bikes are still in storage. I'll probably ride an old beat up r80 g/s around and the 1100 this year... then start putting together another ST and two bikes that Richie moore is making the last few parts for. Lacking however, is the airhead community as I had in the UK but I think I have most parts that I need already here with me. I do sleep better at night though not worrying about Kenny popping around and stealing a few bikes from me. If nothing else the move was worth it for that reason alone!
