It's adjustable - not fixed length, so you can adjust whichever way.

Very happy boy i am too. its got a very quiet motor and belonged to a very nice elderly gentleman...........but he didnt smell of wee

but i do now.....cant wait to go on a proper ride on it, so far ive just been up the lane to check it out quickly .

cheers I'm really happy with it . a bit of a gamble as i sent the money straight to his account without even seeing it last night. but he did seem a very genuine chap on the phone and its good to trust people if it feels right. it looks like paid off anyway.
it came with pannier rails, crash bars and a spare new rocker cover as one has a small graze. it also has a sure foot or similar side stand . i didnt realise the control arm was adjustable ill have to have a look when i get it from my mates place, i thought it had a shorter shock. fingers crossed your right bizzo

right better find me some classic insurance

I saw that on ebay,looked good condition for the mileage.Have fun on it.
Looks like a surefoot sidestand and an mv verholen sport adjustable paralever strut
(or get em through motorworks,I have one on my r1150gs).
