Can anyone tell me what parts I will need or can I fix this problem. The ignition barrel has loosened and comes out with the key. I have gotten used to it by holding down on the barrel with one finger as I draw out the key but if I try and sell the bike it will be a problem. Many thanks.

Maybe it helps if you clean it with some cleaner and check the lowest wafer and it's spring. Make the springs longer by stretching it or replace it with some other spring from the barrel.
Then oil the barrel and install.
Be aware when you handle it. There are small springs which can disappear.
Have a look in here

You get the idea.

The ignition barrel is held in place differently to the other lock barrels.

At the very bottom of the ignition barrel is a small spring loaded cylinder about 1-2 mm across which locks the ignition barrel in place. You can see the hole where it locates at the bottom of the barrel.

If you don't know it exists it usually fires into the unknown when the barrel is removed before you even see it. :D

ie; what is referred to as a "spring fukkit".... coz it springs out never to be seen again shortly
followed by the words "fukk it"

My bike was in for service and the guy said he had a bag of pins that he used to fix mine. All good now.
