Be careful if you add length to the sidestand , too long and it will hit the centre stand before it fully retracts , it is close if you put a GSA sidestand on an otherwise standard GS but I have done it on a couple of bikes .
Just remembered how ridiculous the angle of lean is on a GS on the sidestand even with new pivot bolt and bush, on my old GS I used the Adventure stand and back then they were buttons off E Bay.
Decided to modify an old GS stand I had in the shed, the new extension is solid bar and turned on the lathe a stepped section fits snugly inside the old stand and I will weld it and the cut and chamfer it for the best height and angle of lean.
The blue line on the extension is standard GS length to the sidestand foot , the purple is GSA
