Loose suspension unit

Just arrived back from a ride out and whilst washing the bike I noticed the rear suspension unit, esa and Sachs unit is loose. I mean the white spring and was unit etc will twist round maybe a quarter of a turn. Is this normal? The bike only hS 1k miles on and is under warranty but don’t want to take it in for something that is normal

Completely normal my bike got back from BMW service yesterday 1000 kms and does the same

I suspect it's on single rider and on the centre stand, if so there's not a lot of pre-load/load on the spring.

Mine is in the garage it,s pissing down, and its on centre stand, and on road setting

Rider , it’s maybe 1/8th of a turn

That sounds more like it, you are safe, bike has not hit self destruct mode
