Loose vario panniers

Anybody had problems with their vario panniers being a loose fit, when on and secured to the bike (2013 WC). It seams like it is only the front mount that is the problem.

Theres a tiny bit of flex in the front mount , wouldnt describe it as loose though.

You should be able to adjust them. Tighten them up a bit.

and after you've adjusted them call Touratech and ask if they'll sell you a sense of humour.

Jesus Christ, lighten up. You are obviously not aware of the thread on here from a few weeks back where someone posted that he had called BMW recovery because one of his pannier locks broke. My post was nothing more than a humorous reference to this. If this irks you then perhaps this is not the site for you. As for people leaving the site because of tongue in cheek posts, really? You just don't get it do you.

How loose are we talking? On my last LC, there was a slight bit of movement, but I wedged a thin piece of rubber in the holes where the pannier fixed to the bike, and they didn't budge.

I have done that and it seems to have worked, thanks Nutty.

I noticed my panniers on my wc while on holiday in september, not only are they a very loose fit on the foot rest hanger mounting but they also droop inwards are are loose on the top mountings, i was wondering how you came on with your ones, i feel for the amount of money charged it should be better, as for adjustment on the top mounts is it possible, i don't see any means for adjusting,

Yeah, would agree. Seen a few without them black plastic on the rear footpeg vario mount.
