Hi all

Riding home my GSA alu top box became detached, no idea how or why but it did.
By the time I went back it had gone, location Abbey St SE1 London.

It has white, red and amber cheverons on its corners and various stickers from IAM to drum stickers.

If anyone hears of it lurking for sale please let me know.
Also full of tools about £400 : ( with liner bag BMW.

Nothing on gum tree or ebay as yet, was 12th June.

She looks so bare :tears

Ah, the joys of quick release systems:rolleyes:

Not the first I've heard of, and won't be the last I know.

Keep an eye on the usual sale points, but get used to the idea you're not going to see it again.

Is it worth claiming on your insurance at all?

Yes, not very good. They easily unclip if you bang the box  say against railings when reversing into parking bay.

I have fitted a jubilee clip around the lock / quick release on mine just as an extra precaution.
