Managed to get by bike through it's MOT yesterday, but it had issues with dipped headlight not coming on. Not sure what i did (the usual stuff, check fuses, change bulb etc), but got it working to pass the test.
Now it's not working again and i have no idea what i did the first time around. Checked everything again and nothing seems to be obvious. I've also stripped and cleaned the switch, which when checked with a meter is only working on 2 contacts, not the 4 that are present. One pair of contacts (the pair required for dipped operation) don't seem to have any power to them.
Anyone else had this problem, and what was the outcome?
