Lost distance to turn voice alert

My 660 has stopped telling me how far away I am from a turn. When it first anounces the turn it doesn't tell me what the distance to the turn is. Also when I get closer to the turn, it announces again but no distance is mentioned.

I know that I have had these distances spoken in the past and just wonder if I have messed up a setting somewhere. I have recently installed software version 3.5

Any clues... ideas?

The 550 gives a distance to the next turn ie "in 1 mile turn...." but the 660 rarely does.
This is hazardous as there could be a dozen turnings before the one you need and you have to keep looking at the screen and not the junctions.
