Lost Windows Profile

Home computer has lost all the previous profile settings.

What I mean is that Outlook, Explorer etc has crashed out of all settings and seems to have reverted back to a start from new set up....this is a real PITA.

Outlook especially has no previous records and needs completely resetting....as does everything else.

However; all the files and saved documents (not outlook etc) are intact.

Any suggestions as to whether the previous outlook info is anywhere ......where should I look?

Before you ask about back ups.......Wifes computer and no she has no "back ups".

Try
C:\Documents and Settings\HerAccountName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

You may need to adjust Windows Explorer file options so you can see system files etc

If not there switch off "hide extensions" and search the C:\ drive for *.pst
