loud banging from the engine...

So at the end of all this, we are:

(a) No closer to knowing what the 'Loud banging from engine' was

(b) Left in the dark as to how the 'loud banging' was cured (if it was cured)

(c) No wiser as to the reasons behind the mysterious overnight disappearance of the oil*

*If indeed any oil did vanish during the sleepy hours, as opposed to being checked cold......

CAn't help with 1 or 2 but reckon the oil was hiding in the cooler not having attained sufficient heat to fall back into the sump :aidan

A case of "Read the Flipping manual"

Question is does the 1200 manual give a description of the oil checking procedure? Normally there's just a "Get me a Ride home card" in the wallet these days!

i dont ******* belive it, again?

yep you guest it, stuck at the side of the road this afternoon after my apparently "fixed" decided to snap its throttle cable, called darren at vines and he came and picked me and the bike up and took us back to the garage,

given me another bike to use till my ones fixed

when at vines he had the mechanics check the bike over and also found that the bike appears to have an electrical fault as well, dont know what that is yet but hopefully find out soon,

when its fixed and back, thats it, ive had enough and by by 11200gs hello.../ well dunno yet, have to figure that out!
