LOUD horns!

Thanks Tarka, looks good!

I have two-tone horns on the 1150, work great, cheap as chips. I don't think you can get the result with a single note / tone.

Put a Stebel compact on the 1200 but it stopped working, likkle wheel rattling round like it came of the shaft. Hi temperature no likey, most likely.

Dying to put airhorns on the 1200, free virtual pints for life to first man who shows how to do it nicely!!

I fitted a Magnum, but couldn't get an adapter to fit the BMW connector.
Had to snip the horn wire a couple of inches from the connector (leaving enough wire to re solder if need to fit original again) and used some crimp on connectors, then soldered them.
Quite easy to do as even I managed it.
Magnum is certainly good for warning car drivers who are on the phone, eating their three course dinner, applying makeup, or shaving etc etc. They don't half sit up and take notice :thumb

Found this on You-tube. Just thought you might like it. :D Its a Stebel Nautilus apparently, and gives a good before and after comparrison.

I have a stebel magnum fitted and one day in the summer a daydreaming car driving started to encroach onto by lane on a roundabout so i gave a it a wee blast and he nearly left through the sunroof. On my bike (R850R) it was a direct swap used the same mounting and just swapped the spade conector over
