Louder horn

I DON'T want a relay, I DON'T want any bodges with fuses, direct feeds from battery etc, I just WANT a louder horn

12V x 5A = 60W.

So the question I pose is:

Has anyone found a more efficient 12V 60W replacement horn for the existing GS LC one?

If you want loud, you need amps so I don't think you will achieve the result you seek without a relay.

You could look at one of these ...................... https://www.motorcycleparts-hornig....lu-High-grade-Steel/Nautilus-Stebel-Horn.html. Whilst not plug & play, they come with a full fitting kit.

Do you want your louder horn to overcome the sound of your louder exhaust or to compliment it?

If its the same horn that is on the RT LC. This is a direct replacement and is louder, I fitted it to my RT

E39 5 Series low tone. Part# 61-33-8-381-271 Horn Low Pitch

I fitted one of these and all I got was a deeper sound....not louder. You need more power to get louder...hence a relay.

If you go to Real OEM you can compare part nos of the horn to see if the same horn is fitted to both bikes. Or ask a parts bloke
