My 2009 bike has reached 24000 miles, and I have ridden serious miles all through the winter, and it looks pretty good (I don't know whether the previous owner did winters
). Usual sand blasting of finishes on the bash plate and centre stand, but no corrosion.
Half the problem is the crappy water based paints the manufacturers have to use these days...
